Leslie Hassler, Interior Designer and President

Well before the days of design shows and HGTV, my mother and I spent our Sundays watching “This Old House” and “The New Yankee Workshop”. Although my first degree is in Journalism from Texas A&M University, I never forgot the draw I had to architecture and interiors. My family laughs because all my pictures from traveling abroad and state side are of buildings, not people.

After 5 years, I decided to leave my career of Marketing and Advertising to return to school and graduate with a degree in Interior Design. I have never looked back. Working in the field of interior design for the past 7 years, I never tire of creating a beautiful home for my clients.

I draw inspiration from my client’s travel, their personality, hobbies and how they live their life. I love sharing my design expertise with my clients to create a luxurious home for them and develop the solutions that make their life easier.

Outside of being an interior designer, I am a mother of two boys and a wife to my very supportive husband. We travel when ever possible, with at least 1 week a year at a foreign beach. We believe in the power of giving to others and actively support organizations such as the Houston Food Bank and Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM). We are active in our church serving on the Children’s Ministry Team and the Property Committee.

I am an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), an Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer (AKBD) and a member of the Best Practice Network. I have also passed the NCIDQ certification exam required for licensure in the state of Texas.

Ali Adams, Junior Designer

With degrees in business and math from Southern Methodist Univesity, I began my career at Fossil Corp., in the eyewear department as a product manager. Through this position, I gained valuable the business experience of working with clients and vendors, as well as following design and forecasting trends for the products.

My interest in interior design began with a class, “Architecture and Society”, my senior year at SMU. That experience along with the exposure to the creative process as a product manager, inspired me to go back to school fulltime at Lone Star College and pursue a degree in interior design. I love working with our clients’ home to create a place they can fall in love with. I find inspiration in nature, fashion, people I meet and the architecture of the world.

As an avid animal lover, my family and I support the SPCA, as well as several breast cancer awareness organizations. In my spare time, I enjoy working on my own home and spending time with our friends and family.

After graduation this fall, I plan on sitting for the AKBD and NCIDQ certification exams. I am currently the Treasurer of the Student Chapter of ASID and hold a student membership with NKBA.
